Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed or Glassdoor: where to look for jobs in India
Each of the big job boards has its own mix of companies and roles. Knowing what each is good at tells you where to spend your time, and why searching only one of them means missing jobs.
Naukri
India's largest job board by number of listings. Strong for IT services, banking, operations, sales and many mid-size Indian companies. Recruiters search Naukri profiles directly, so keep yours updated and active.
Strong for product companies, startups and multinationals, and for roles where a referral helps. Many posts get hundreds of applicants within days, so apply early and, where you can, message someone on the team.
Indeed
Collects jobs from company career pages and other sites as well as direct posts, so it often shows openings the others don't, including many non-tech and smaller-company roles.
Glassdoor
Best known for company reviews and salary reports, with a smaller set of Indian listings. Useful for checking a company before an interview or before you accept an offer.
Why search all four
The boards overlap, but less than you might expect: a startup may post only on LinkedIn, a bank only on Naukri, and a company's own career page may reach Indeed alone. At the same time, the same job often appears on two or three boards, so searching all four by hand means a lot of duplicates to skip.
