Installing JobMatch on Windows
When you open JobMatch-Setup.exe, Windows may show a blue box that says “Windows protected your PC”.
This is Microsoft SmartScreen. It appears for new apps from small makers that Windows hasn't seen many times yet,
not because anything is wrong with the file. It goes away for everyone as more people install JobMatch.
The two clicks
Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognised app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk.

- Click More info (the small link under the message).
- Click Run anyway. The JobMatch installer starts; follow it to the end.
If your browser says the download “isn't commonly downloaded”, open the browser's downloads list, click the three dots next to JobMatch-Setup.exe and choose Keep (Edge: Keep anyway).
How do I know the file is genuine?
- Download it only from jobmatch.optionallabs.com; the address bar should show the lock and that name.
- The installer is built automatically from our source code and checked before every release, and JobMatch updates itself with files signed by us, which the app verifies before installing.
- Any doubts, write to contact@optionallabs.com before you run it.
On a Mac?
The Mac version is signed and notarised by Apple, so it opens without warnings. Open the .dmg and drag JobMatch into Applications.
